Velocity’s spray-injection patching technology heads for Bangladesh

Four of the most advanced road repair machines on the market are on their way to Bangladesh after being designed and manufactured by Velocity.

The Road Transport and Highways Division of the Bangladesh Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges opted for high capacity 7.5mVelocity Spray Injection Patching machines, designed to suit the local requirements. Each machine has the capability to repair over 300 defects per day.

Manufactured on a sub-frame to be mounted on chassis’ locally in Bangladesh, the machines operate independently of the vehicle and are simple to commission after shipping in containers from the UK.

In addition to manufacturing the machines, Velocity’s experts provide advice on material specification and supply, as well as training for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Experts from Velocity will be travelling to Bangladesh to train new operators to use the equipment safely and effectively, helping them to deliver quality repairs to the road network. Using Velocity Patching, permanent road repairs take just minutes apply and are ready for traffic immediately, minimising disruption for road users and maximising productivity.
